Well the sentiment of enjoyment was a bit different after the several attacks. Plus the weather being terrible.
After 1.5 hours of studying in class, we headed to the beach to use boards and tubes... One thing for sure the water was not cold (for once) about 20 C, but the waves were at least 2 or 3 meters high, a messy one, but we did it. Yeah!
The shore was covered with "blue bottles" blue jelly fish due to the low tide, there were heaps in the water too .... well, I gotta buy a rash vest next time!
Apparently, the Sydney area is invaded by sharks, the government has banned shark fishermen from hunting until July due to new fishing quotas... so no wonder there are so many around...
And today again, life savers had to close the beach at 5 pm for shark sighting....
For the curious, a 6-minute-video on the day of the attack, this will allow you to see where I spend my time on Sundays and Tuesdays and there is a French guy who helped the poor guy giving all details, a bit gross... interesting accent as well ;) the guy is still in shock.
Watch it here: (you can see the guys from the surf life team at the very beginning: tshirt with a green cross and young man with the red short)

Anyways, just a few pictures taken later in the afternoon at Clovelly Beach, a great place. By the way, I recommend the Clovelly Hotel! Great place and great band!

By the way, pour changer de sujet, yesterday was the first day of the famous Mardi gras festivities, it'll last until March 7th. I'll try to take home-made pictures just for you!
Here are just a few for the "Fair day" at Victoria park. Ten minutes from my place actually.

Have a great Monday!

Salut Tony,

Voili voilou... A pluche
